We are seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer for our client’s New York City office to manage a wide range of transportation projects including roadway geometric design, storm drain design and calculations, plan and specification preparation. The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering and designing local transportation projects including developing internal design costs, assisting in the preparation of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and permits, and client interface. This person will also be active in developing business relationships with existing and new clients. Requirements
The successful candidate will have a proven track record providing transportation engineering services. We want a highly motivated individual with a BSCE degree, 7-15 years of stable experience, and a strong understanding of highway engineering. Experience with Geopak, InRoads AutoCAD, and Microstation is required. Experience in the Iowa including work with IADOT is highly preferred. Some experience with transportation projects in the Midwest is mandatory. The position requires a PE license and current registration in Iowa or the ability to become registered within 6 months.
